JOB TASKS
• Instructs the patients and their relatives regarding the internal order regulations displayed in the unit.
• Upon admission, he observes the patient's symptoms and condition, measures and records the vital functions, and if the patient's condition requires it, immediately informs the doctor.
• Presents the patient to the doctor for examination and informs him about the observed condition according to his needs.
• Takes care of the patient according to the care plan, therapeutic, functional explorations and systematically informs the doctor about his evolution.
• Write down the recommendations made by the doctor during the visit in the notebook intended for this purpose, which remains permanently in the respective department.
• Identifies patient care problems, sets priorities, develops and implements the care plan and evaluates the results obtained throughout the hospitalization.
• Takes care of the patient according to the treatment, exploration and care plan, and systematically informs the doctor about his progress.
• Prepares the patient, through specific techniques, for the necessary examinations, organizes his transport and, if necessary, supervises his condition during transport.
• Prepares the patient and helps the doctor to perform special investigation and treatment techniques. - Performs the following medical techniques: oral, injectable (intramuscular, intravenous, subcutaneous) cutaneous drug administration, through probes, infusions (with or without branula fitting), dressings, cardio-respiratory resuscitation if necessary , performing a gastric, duodenal survey; performing enemas; measuring biological constants such as BP, temperature, diuresis, pulse, breathing and recording them in the patient's temperature sheet; performing current and emergency analyzes (biochemistry, hematology, bacteriology, mycological, serological, urine biochemistry, immunological, coagulation, etc.) and recording the values in the patient's FO. Performs therapeutic procedures, treatments and investigations as indicated by the doctor.
• Give first aid in emergency situations and call the doctor.
• Observes the symptoms and condition of the patient and records them in the medical record.
• Responsible for fixing the tickets in the sheet and keeping them in good condition.
• Ensures the preservation and recording of results, investigations in the Patient Observation Sheet and specific records.
• Participate in the visit of the salon doctor and the head doctor of the department.
• Notes the doctor's recommendations recorded in the observation sheet, regarding the delegated role, executes them autonomously within the limits of competence and submits them to the next shifts through the written report of the service
• Conducts an intensive health education activity depending on the problems and condition of the hospitalized patient.
• Observes the appetite of the patients, supervises the distribution of the meal according to the diet recorded in the Observation Sheet, designates the person who feeds the dependent patients.
• Ensures the specific monitoring of the patient according to the medical prescription.
• Respect professional secrecy and the medical assistant's code of ethics
• Responsible for taking the medicines written on the prescription, for their correct and complete distribution.
• Participate in the nurses' on-call report, announce existing problems.
• Responsible for the rational use of consumables, settles them in the material settlement register and in the settlement sheet in the observation sheet.
• Responsible for the settlement of medicines and sanitary materials from the emergency apparatus.
• Takes the remaining medicines from the patients and informs the head nurse and the doctor in order to redistribute them.
• Ensures the preservation and use of the tools and equipment provided and the existing soft inventory.
• Verbally and in writing carry out the takeover/handover of each patient and service within the shift report regarding the continuation of treatment and the measurement of biological constants.
